Call to Stop Lethal Culling in the Carnarvon Gorge National Park, Qld

They may live in the Hunter Valley of NSW but the Hunter Valley Brumby Association and Save Our Brumbies attracted attention to the plight of brumby horses in Queensland, with a protest ride in Greta NSW.   The Queensland Government is currently conducting an aerial cull in the Carnarvon Gorge National Park, despite protests by ABA, Save the Brumbies Inc and other ABA Member Groups and international organisations such as the Foundation Brigitte Bardot.  In Greta, two young Australian girls from Save Our Brumbies with the help of HVBA organised the protest rally which saw over 40 riders as well as walkers participate, advocating for more humane methods of control.  To see the NBN news coverage of the day click on the link below.
