Major cull of wild horses in the Kimberly, WA
The WA Government plans to cull Arab line wild horses on a pastoral lease in the Lake Gregory area of Western Australia and truck them thousands of miles to an abaytoir for horse meat export. While the cull has been suspended due to public outcry, ABA fears that yet again, governments are not taking responsibility for providing effective long term management plans, perferring to ignore the situation until the populations explodes and then resorting to knee jerk, inhumane practices.
