Brumby Shooting in the Snowy Mountains
ABA and the Victorian Brumby Association have been montitoring the killing of brumbies in the Tumbarumba area of NSW. Some would say, as in the media article links below, that this is acceptable as they are ridding Australia of feral pests. But consider that the perpetrator of the killing is not authorised, accoutable or monitored. The situation is definitely inhumane for the animals and potentially dangerous to humans who are in the area.
Control of brumbies must be humane and properly managed !
